Mr. Pablo Arboleda
Mr. Arboleda moved to the U.S. from Colombia in 1999 and had the opportunity to live in Minneapolis, the Virgin Islands, and South Florida before settling in in Gurnee in 2005 where he has been an active member of the community.
Mr. Arboleda earned his teaching degree from Rockford College and his Master's in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University.
Mr. Arboleda started his professional career in the corporate business world and in 2005 he switched his career to education and began his second career as a bilingual teacher at an elementary school in Waukegan. After a few years, he became Assistant Principal in both elementary and middle school settings for a combined number of nine years serving the districts of Waukegan and Palatine.
Mr. Arboleda enjoys running, scuba diving, bike riding, technology, reading, soccer and traveling.
Mr. Arboleda brings to Woodland Intermediate School a multicultural and diverse professional background, language acquisition expertise, and an understanding of how all aspects of life are important to the education of the child as a whole. He is thrilled to be part of the Woodland Intermediate School team and is looking forward to working with school families, students, and staff to make significant academic gains this year.
Mr. Arboleda has been married for 12 years to Claudia, and together they have two fabulous children, Marty (10) and Simon (7).
