A Welcoming Environment at Woodland
-
Woodland School District 50 will consistently practice equity and inclusion in district policies, curriculum, and actions. Woodland will identify and eliminate discriminatory practices. Woodland creates a safe and welcoming environment for all regardless of identity including, but not limited to: race, ethnicity, sex, nationality, ability/disability, immigration status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socioeconomic status, language.
Equity means...
Woodland students, staff, family, and community members will be affirmed and treated fairly, impartially and non-judgmentally. Every student will receive the tools and supports they need to develop to their full academic and social potential.
Inclusion means...
Woodland welcomes and includes all students, staff, family, and community members. We will ensure all have an equal opportunity to have a voice, access, and the full supports and services of the community.
