•  We have a "What's Bugging Me?" box in the office for anonymous tips for bullying. 

    Parent pick-up begins every day at 2:43.  Students must be picked up from the front office by 3:00 if they are not riding the bus home.  If you find that you're having trouble getting to school by this time, please contact us and we will work together to find a solution.  Thank you for your cooperation!

    If your child is going to be absent from school, please be sure that you call the attendance line at 847-596-5901 to report his or her absence.  We appreciate you using this number as opposed to the main line.  Thank you!

  • Girls on the Run Program(GOTR)

    Woodland Intermediate will be hosting this amazing program for the 11th year, 12th season!  Here is what you need to know if your daughter is interested:

    *  This is a program for 3-5th grade girls.  (4th and 5th at our building)

    *  It will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:15pm.  

    *  Registration, beginning early February will be online & include a fee; approximately $90.

    *  Registration for Woodland Intermediate will CLOSE Feb. 16th or when we reach the capacity of coaches to girls ratio set by GOTR.  
    (We must have coaches secured by 2/1) 

    *  WE NEED COACHES!  This requires a one time training session and CPR certification. If you are interested in helping in ANY WAY please click on Volunteer

    *  Coaches may be dads, moms, adult siblings, aunts, uncles, family friends, etc....and do NOT HAVE TO RUN!  (Ever, really--UNLESS YOU WANT TO!)

    *  The program typically begins the first week of March and runs for 12 weeks, or 24 sessions.  We do not meet over Spring Break. We conclude with a 5K event in late May or early June.

    *  The 5K has been at CLC the last few years and will likely be there again but that date/location is announced by GOTR as soon as it is secured.

    *  Kerry Rejczyk will be the site liaison who may be reached at krejczyk@dist50.net or 847-596-5398 with any questions!
